Charcoal is known to absorb odors. The smell of a wet bamboo charcoal insert is definitely lighter than the regular insert, and it is slightly drier when in use as well.
Bamboo charcoal inserts are Eco-friendly, reusable. Machine wash in warm water, then line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Allow for a 1–3% rate of shrinkage after washing (bamboo shrinks slightly more than cotton).
